Carla Adams, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with experience in both clinic-based and home primary care. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s of science degrees in nursing from Tennessee State University, and she holds an endocrinology certificate from Duke University.
Before joining the Centers, Carla worked as a registered nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and as an advanced practice nurse with Premise Health, Ascension Medical Group and Cigna Medicare. She is a member of the Middle Tennessee Advanced Practice Nurses.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Amy Armstrong, FNP-BC, BSN, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She earned a bachelor of science in nursing from Purdue University and received her master’s degree from Vanderbilt University. Before coming to MNPS, Amy worked at Duke Primary Care in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She decided to work in primary care because she enjoys getting to know her patients while helping them achieve their health and wellness goals. She has also completed a 200-hour yoga certification and teaches yoga and mindfulness.
Amy and her husband live in Nashville with their two Goldendoodles, Tigger and Kensie. In her down time, Amy enjoys going to exercise classes, trying out new restaurants and traveling. She’s also an avid sports fan and enjoys attending Nashville Predators games a and cheering on the Indianapolis Colts.
Duke Chenault, DNP, APRN, ACNP-BC, FNP-C, is a board-certified acute care and family nurse practitioner. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, his master’s in nursing, a post master’s certificate and his doctorate in nursing practice from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. He has more than two decades of clinical experience with community and employer-sponsored clinics, primary care and occupational health.
Before bringing his clinical practice to the MNPS Health Care Centers, Duke worked for University Community Health Services and Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Occupational Health Clinic. Since 2004, he has served as full-time clinical faculty and taught part-time at VUMC’s School of Nursing. He has a special interest in metabolic syndrome management and its associated co-morbidities.
Duke is a Middle Tennessee native who lives near Bellevue with his wife, three children and two dogs. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, working on cars and watching college football.
Christina (Tina) Dozier, MSN, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner with experience in primary care, urgent care, allergy and asthma. She began her nursing career at Vanderbilt, working as an RN in the neuro ICU before becoming a nurse practitioner. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Austin Peay State University in 1994 and earned a master’s degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 1999. Prior to working at the MNPS Health Care Centers, she worked at Vanderbilt Primary Care in Clarksville.
Tina was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. She is married and has two children. She loves to travel and spend time with family.
Chandler Harmon, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a background in pediatrics and emergency medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Belmont University and went on to obtain her master’s degree in nursing from Middle Tennessee State University.
Prior to starting at MNPS, Chandler spent most of her nursing career working in the emergency and inpatient setting. She is excited to transition to primary care so she can get to know her patients better and help them meet their overall health goals.
Chandler is a Nashville native and attended Nashville public schools. She is happily married and lives just outside of Nashville with her husband, Jackson, her cat, Suki and Ruby Jo, her dog. Chandler values exercise. She enjoys running and taking barre and Pilates classes. In her spare time, she likes to travel, cook and eat good food with her friends and family.
Weldon Saunders, BS, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a focus in pre-medicine at the University of Tennessee and her master’s degree in nursing from Vanderbilt. Before coming to the MNPS Health Care Centers, she worked in Charlottesville at the University of Virginia. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Weldon enjoys learning, meeting new people, cooking and painting. She and her husband, Bennett, enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring different restaurants around the area and spending time with family.
Morgan Stine, BS, MS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant with a background in emergency medicine, trauma, neurological intensive care, critical care, rapid response and urgent care.
Before joining the MNPS Health Care Centers, Morgan spent five years at Vanderbilt Health Walk-in Clinics, and three years working in the Vanderbilt Neuro Intensive Care Unit and with the rapid response team. Prior to that, she practiced adult and pediatric emergency medicine in California.
Morgan received a double bachelor's degree in biology and natural science with a dual emphasis in pre-med and pre-physical therapy from Loyola Marymount University. She earned her master’s degree from University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. She is a member of the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Morgan recently started a non-profit organization, Parker’s Promise, which provides on-the-ground resources to patients hospitalized with pathogenic bacterial illnesses and their families. She lives with her husband, who is a lieutenant with the Brentwood Fire Department, and their three young children. They enjoy family time, exercise, hiking, visiting Tennessee state parks, time at the lake and the beach, and participating in soccer and kids’ sports.
Martha (Marty) Sutherland, BSN, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from George Mason University in 1977 and her master’s in nursing from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis in 1989. Marty served in the Air Force and Navy Reserve as both a nurse and family nurse practitioner for 15 years. She has worked at the MNPS Health Care Centers since they opened in 2009; prior to that, she worked at the Vine Hill Community Clinic.
She lives in Brentwood with her husband, Josh, and has two daughters, Leah and Meg. In her spare time, she helps her husband with their small businesses, works out at the YMCA and cheers on the Tennessee Titans and Vanderbilt Commodores.
Barbara Wolff, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with experience in community health and home care. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Illinois, and her master’s degree in nursing from Vanderbilt. Before coming to the MNPS Health Care Centers, she worked for a private practice, then spent five years at Vine Hill Community Clinic.
Barbara has a daughter and two grandchildren who live in Nashville, and a son who resides in Wyoming. In her spare time, she participates in many activities, including yoga, Pilates, walking and hiking, gardening, cooking and traveling. She enjoys visual art and music events and independent films, and she’s a member of a local book club.
Tyler Burhart, PT, DPT, earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from The University of Tennessee Knoxville and received his doctorate of physical therapy from Belmont University. Before joining MNPS, he worked at BenchMark Physical Therapy in Columbia, Tennessee.
He has experience in orthopedic physical therapy and vestibular rehabilitation, and is currently completing an orthopedic residency with Upstream Rehab Institute. Tyler is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Tennessee Physical Therapy Association.
He enjoys hiking, rollerblading, spending time with friends, trying new restaurants and watching UT football.
Bobby Russell, DPT, is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopaedics and is extensively trained in a broad array of conditions that can present in a physical therapy clinic. Bobby earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science, physical education and wellness from Tennessee Tech University. He attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he earned a doctor of physical therapy. He completed a two-year residency with Benchmark Rehab Institute and began fellowship training in manual physical therapy through Bellin College. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), American Academy of Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) and Tennessee Physical Therapy Association (TPTA).
Physical fitness and health are paramount for Bobby. He’s always been fascinated by the resiliency of the human body and its ability to heal under the right circumstances. He believes a holistic approach to health care truly is the most effective and efficient way to lead a healthy and meaningful life. Outside of work, Bobby enjoys barbequing/grilling and following sports, most notably UT, the NFL and the NBA.
Melinda Sandy, PT, earned her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Her work has focused on outpatient physical therapy, and she has extensive experience in caring for spine impairments and knee and hip joint replacements. She has been the requested guest speaker at many wellness/safety conferences, including for athletic trainers, workers’ compensation organizations, Nashville airport staff and more.
Before joining Vanderbilt Health, Melinda owned Physical Therapy and Wellness Services, LLC, a business that treated injured workers at their workplaces. There, she gained valuable experience as the primary physical therapist, billing and office manager, and marketing and business relationship ambassador.
Most recently, Melinda transferred from Vanderbilt’s orthopedic clinic in Nashville to provide physical therapy services at MNPS’s Employee & Family Health Centers. That move helps fulfill her professional goal of working in an environment that fosters a multifaceted approach to health care.
Outside work, she enjoys all types of gardening and classical yoga.
A Wilson County native and graduate of Wilson Central High School, Noah Stafford, PT, DPT, earned a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Centre College, where he played NCAA collegiate football. He went on to complete his doctorate in physical therapy at Western Kentucky University. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Tennessee Physical Therapy Association.
Outside work, Noah enjoys watching football, golfing, working out and spending time with friends. He and his wife, Megan — a registered nurse who works at Vanderbilt University Medical Center — live in Nashville with their dog, Scrappy.
Emily Van Dyke, PT, DPT, earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Florida State University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Florida Southern College. Before joining MNPS, she served as a clinic director at Results Physiotherapy.
Emily treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including neck and back pain, post-operative recovery and sports-related injuries. She also has a special interest in pelvic health physical therapy, supporting patients with incontinence and throughout the pregnancy and postpartum period. She is passionate about creating individualized care plans and helping patients feel confident in their recovery.
Originally from Florida, Emily moved to Nashville in 2023 and now calls Tennessee home. Outside of work, she enjoys CrossFit, spending time outdoors and exploring local coffee shops.
Dr. Keith Graves, DC, CCSP, received his bachelor of science in human biology in 1986 and his doctor of chiropractic degree in 1988 from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis. He is a certified chiropractic sports physician by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, and is certified in kinesio taping and acupuncture.
Dr. Graves was in private practice for over 30 years before coming to the MNPS Health Center in 2018 and has worked in Nashville since 1989.
His interests include hiking, exercise and playing the drums.
Dr. Shannon Hall, DC, began his chiropractic career with an eye to returning injured athletes to play and improving their overall performance. But he soon realized that treating a broader scope of clients was just as satisfying: helping a worker get back on the job or a parent get back to a full role in family life, and returning anyone — gym rat or retiree — to the active life they desire.
Dr. Hall earned a bachelor's degree in pre-med and biology at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City and earned his doctorate in chiropractic at Sherman College in Spartanburg, S.C. Studying the human body and how chiropractic treatment can improve health has been his focus for 16 years.
After work, he enjoys coaching in his daughter’s soccer league, where he has volunteered for the past six years. Other interests include traveling, road trips, amusement parks, golf, fishing, birding, woodworking and cooking.
Tiffanie Marksbury, RN, MSN, DNP, earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Belmont University and worked as a registered nurse on a cardiac step-down unit for several years. She completed her master’s in nursing at Emory University in 2007 and has worked as a nurse practitioner in endocrinology, with a focus on diabetes, since then. She worked at a private practice diabetes center before earning her doctor of nursing practice from Georgia State University in 2017.
Tifffanie is currently on faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she works with inpatient and outpatient glucose and diabetes management. She is site coordinator for the Vanderbilt site of the Epidemiology of Diabetes Interventions and Complications trial. She serves as co-chair of the inpatient Diabetes and Glucose Oversight Committee and co-director of the Diabetes Integrated Science Course for medical students at Vanderbilt School of Medicine. Her interest in diabetes started when her sister was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in the late 1980s.
Tiffanie is a Tennessee native and loves dogs, running half marathons and cheering on the Tennessee Vols.
Dr. Angel Morvant is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Department of Medicine. She is board certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, and internal medicine.
Dr. Morvant earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Virginia, where she also served as a clinician before pursuing specialized training. She went on to complete her endocrinology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, with a clinical and research focus in metabolic and endocrine disorders.
Outside of her clinical and academic work, Dr. Morvant enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and being outdoors.
Alexandra Kuchler, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in treating anxiety disorders, depression and attention difficulties. After completing her undergraduate degree in behavioral neuroscience, she received a bachelor of science in nursing from Columbia University’s accelerated Entry to Practice (ETP) program. She then went on to get her master’s degree in psychiatric nursing from Rutgers University.
Alexandra has experience treating both adults and children, and has worked in private offices and non-profit organizations. She is a compassionate provider who believes in treating the person as a whole, not as a disorder or diagnosis. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, spending time outside, and trying out new recipes on her friends and family.
Marlee Lampert, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with more than four years’ experience caring for patients at Vanderbilt clinics. She completed a fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Thomas Jefferson University and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of St. Francis.
Marlee has experience treating a range of conditions, including anxiety, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders and ADHD. She takes a holistic, patient-centered approach and views the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership. She helps patients better understand their mental health and supports them with education, guidance and evidence-based care.
Outside of work, Marlee enjoys hiking, running, Pilates, camping and spending time with family and friends.
Sara Mills, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified behavioral health nurse practitioner. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at The University of Tennessee Knoxville.
Sara started her nursing career at The University of Tennessee Medical Center and worked there for six years. She then moved to a private practice behavioral health clinic and worked as a nurse practitioner, followed by a stint at East Tennessee State University’s psychiatric clinic before coming to MNPS.
She has treated a range of mental health disorders, with a specialty in medication management for major depression, generalized anxiety disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and/or related mood disorders. Her goal is to help patients feel safe, comfortable, heard and understood by delivering attentive, compassionate and individualized care.
Sara is mom to a mastiff mix dog and an adoring aunt to two nephews. She enjoys trying out new restaurants with friends, running and hiking when the weather permits, traveling, gardening and church activities. She especially loves watching Tennessee football and rooting for the Vols and Titans.
Dr. Rob Moore, PhD, EdD, MA, provides psychological evaluations for MNPS teachers, administrators, staff and dependents to aid in the overall diagnostic and treatment process. He received his first PhD from Vanderbilt University, then went on to earn a second doctorate in psychology with an emphasis in health psychology and behavioral medicine.Dr. Moore has conducted psychological evaluations in area school systems, in private practice, and for the departments of correction and youth development. His subspecialties are diagnosing and treating ADHD, affective disorders and anxiety disorders. He maintains an active research agenda and is currently conducting two studies exploring the connections between health and spirituality.
His past experiences in the school system, along with his practice, studies and health research, have provided the foundation for an integrative healthcare model for those who work in educational settings. Dr. Moore is grateful to be a part of the Vanderbilt Health-MNPS wellness program, as well being able to contribute by providing psychological evaluations to the community. Dr. Moore lives in Franklin with his wife, and they enjoy spending time with their two grown daughters and granddaughter, as well as walking, traveling and attending college football games, concerts and plays.
Thomas E. Young, PMHNP-BCR, RN, BSBA, is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a passion for holistic, patient-centered care. After beginning his academic journey at Ohio State University where he studied marketing and behavioral economics, Thomas worked at a nursing home and volunteered at the suicide crisis line. He later completed his master's degree in nursing at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing with a concentration in psychiatric care across the lifespan.
He holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Vanderbilt University after graduating in 2021. His research project focused on the integration of behavioral health resources into primary care clinics, promoting a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.
In his current role, Thomas specializes in medication management and supportive therapy. He is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care, believing that the key to successful health outcomes lies in understanding and addressing the unique needs of each individual. Thomas enjoys working at a patient-centered medical home, where he supports his coworkers and contributes to a collaborative, caring environment. Thomas is particularly interested in mindfulness and meditation practices as tools for enhancing mental health and overall wellness.
Outside of his professional life, he enjoys reading, playing board games, hiking, and watching films with friends and loved ones. His commitment to holistic and lifestyle care extends into his personal life, where he practices finding balance and joy in a variety of activities and commitments.
Bobbi Nickel, RN, MSN, is a seasoned registered nurse, Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Certified Holistic Health Coach, and Certified Cancer Support Educator.
She has worked as a missionary nurse, clinical nurse and holistic health coach. She received her associate’s degree in nursing from Northwestern Michigan College and her bachelor’s in nursing and master's in nursing education from Western Governors University.
Bobbi is certified as a holistic health consultant by the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and as a health and wellness coach by Wellcoaches, which is affiliated with Harvard. She is also certified as a cancer support educator by the Center for Advancement in Cancer Education. She is a Care Coordinator at the MNPS Employee Wellness Center, serving as a holistic health coach. Bobbi lives in Spring Hill with her husband, and she loves spending time with her five children and 12 grandchildren.
B.J. Reeves, BSN, RN, is a registered nurse with a diverse background in patient care and health coaching. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Florida State University and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Marian University.
She spent three years as an inpatient nurse before becoming a wellness nurse. She provides onsite, one-on-one health coaching to promote lifestyle changes and counseling for chronic disease management and medication compliance.
B.J. has leveraged her clinical experience and upbeat teaching style to educate new nurses, tutoring students from nursing programs across the country. In her free time, she volunteers at a memory care facility and free clinic for vulnerable patients.
Amy Hale, RN, NBC-HWC, ACM-RN, is a registered nurse with more than 13 years of inpatient nursing experience in the operating room, direct bedside care and case management. She earned her BSN from Belmont University and completed her health coaching certification through Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach and an Accredited Case Manager–Registered Nurse.
Amy enjoys working alongside patients as they make practical, lasting changes to support their health and well-being. She feels grateful to be part of their journey to healthier living and is passionate about helping others reach their goals. Outside of work, she enjoys running, reading and spending time with her cookbook club.
Leanne J. Rein, Pharm.D, serves as pharmacist for Kroger Pharmacy at the MNPS Employee Wellness Center. She earned her Pharm.D. from Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy, then completed a one-year post-graduate residency with Kroger and University of Tennessee, earning her teaching certificate from UT during this time. Since completing her residency, Leanne has worked at various Kroger pharmacies. She also serves as affiliate clinical faculty at UT and is a residency preceptor for Kroger.
Leanne lives in Nolensville with her husband Andrew. She enjoys spending time with family, watching college football, and cheering on the Preds!
Kreg Kinnaman, BS, MS, is a dedicated Lead Fitness Associate with over seven years of experience in the health and wellness industry. Before joining the MNPS Fitness Center in 2017, Kreg earned a bachelor’s degree in science with an emphasis in athletic training from Cumberland University, and earned a master’s degree in exercise science from Arkansas State University.
Kreg is passionate about making a positive impact on others' lives by guiding clients on their fitness journeys. He continuously strives to help clients achieve their health goals through personalized coaching and expert advice. Outside of work, Kreg is a proud spouse and devoted father to a young daughter and believes that family, health and balance are key to living a fulfilling life.
Sarah LaFayette, BS, MS, CPT, is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer. She earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a master’s degree in the psychology of physical activity and sport, both from Illinois State University. During her time there, she played on the university’s soccer team.
Sarah is motivated by helping others reach their fitness and wellness goals, and she understands that looks different for everyone. She appreciates the fact that her career in wellness allows her to interact with people from all walks of life. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, and playing with her dog, Penny.
Trenton Tuttle, BS, NASM-CPT, CNC, is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach. He graduated from the University of the Cumberlands with a triple major in exercise sports science, coaching and fitness and sport management. Previously, he worked at StretchLab and STAT Wellness.
A former college football player, Trenton is passionate about helping others improve their strength, mobility and overall well-being through personalized training and proper nutrition. His focus areas include general wellness, strength training and corrective exercise. Outside of work, he enjoys watching sports and spending time with his family.
Jillian Walker, BS, MS, CPT, is an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer. The Tennessee native earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a master’s degree in exercise science from Middle Tennessee State University.
Jillian’s hobbies include traveling, exercising, reading, and spending quality time with her family and close friends. She understands the significance of physical activity and exercise as a means to have a better quality of life.
