Coming in July: Strength Training for Better Blood Sugar Control

Strong muscles do more than you think. They not only make everyday movement easier, protect your joints and help burn calories — they can also lower blood sugar and improve how your body uses insulin.

Starting July 9, the MNPS Health Care Centers will host a four-week, in-person Group Medical Visit focused on strength training to help you manage diabetes or prediabetes. You’ll learn simple, practical exercises — using resistance bands — that help you build strength and support better blood sugar control.
