Because we partner with Vanderbilt Health and exclusively serve MNPS employees, retirees and their families, the Health Care Centers are a great option for getting and staying well. We don’t just focus on symptoms — we treat you with your entire well-being in mind. If you need help from other medical experts or specialists, we invite them to join your care team.
2. Low or No Cost
If you’re covered by the Certificated Employee Health Plan, you pay $0 to use the Centers. If you have other coverage, no worries. We will bill your insurance.
3. Convenience
There is a Center within a 15-minute drive of most MNPS work locations, making it easy to get the care you need quickly. Same-day and next-day appointments are often available.
4. We Can Serve as Your PCP
We believe it’s important to have a primary care provider — someone who knows your health history and can look at the big picture of your health. We can serve as your PCP. Or, if you choose a PCP elsewhere, we can still see you and coordinate with your provider.
5. Vanderbilt Quality
Our board-certified Vanderbilt nurse practitioners work under the supervision of a physician medical director. They conduct exams, diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, and prescribe medications and provide referrals when needed.
6. After-Hours Options
Need care after hours or on weekends? Schedule a telehealth visit with a Vanderbilt Health nurse practitioner, available Saturdays and Sundays, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Call 615-421-1711 or schedule on the My Health at Vanderbilt portal (choose the Same Day Telehealth Visit tile).
